I have an SCS on my metal 2.0, yes not plate so it sits low I realy like it.. I have no issue with the solar ,it can be charged with artificial lighting. In reading your post you seem sold on the EPS so get that one.

I shot the gun today and the Holosun SCS for the M/P fits without an adaptor plate. No sight adjustment was required. This sight screws directly on the slide and co-witness with the lower regular sights..With the ported barrel there is slightly less felt recoil..
I just picked up the new performance center M&P 2.0 ported 4.22 barrel. I sold my metal non performance gun. I have not shot it yet but really like the serrations in the slide and darker aluminum frame. Hopefully this is a winner for S&W.
