Shield perfomance plus model stuck slide

So my 3 month old performance + 3.1 model had the stuck slide issue. Found out about this here from 2021 thread.



By now I would have thought this would be fixed.
I think the spring is back in position but don't know for sure.


Anyone know if this has been addressed?
