    Lenovo Computers - need help!

I have two Lenovos running windows xp. They are the small ones that look like external hard drives standing vertically. No problems so far after about 1 year. I like these because you can hook up whatever monitor or whatever else you want. The latest ones have windows 7. I bought a Lenovo laptop...

    s marking on barrel

Thanks Lee and Opoefc. I checked the book and didn't see anything about it. It would seem like it does refer to barrel work as the "s" is not stamped on the frame or cylinder.

    s marking on barrel

Here's a pic from GB item #156583404. Scroll down to the last picture and the ser # and the "s" are shown clearly on the underside of the barrel.

    s marking on barrel

Post war K-22. On the underside of the barrel where the ser # is there is also an ".s" some distance away (not next to ser #). Could anybody tell what this indicates? The "s" is not on the bottom of the grip. Thanks

100,000 mile spark plug change interval - fact or fiction?

gunsmith11 "97 ford F150, changed the plugs at 160,000" I have a '97 Tbird with the 4.6L engine. Changed mine at 130,000. Ford used platinum plugs which is why they last so long.

    Houston Gun Show Report

Was it jam packed with people? I was going to go but didn't want to hassle with lines and jostling.

    Model 14, 15?

I have a K-38 6" that was maybe mfg in 1952 if one goes by the ser # range in the Std Catalog. I have a gold box with it but can't tell if its the original box because I can't read the markings on the bottom. Anyway, the end of the box has printed on it "K-38 Masterpiece, Blue Finish, 6-Inch...

    K-32 Masterpiece

swca1000 A K-32 sold at a Tx gun show recently for $2200. I held it and examined it before it was sold. It was 99% and had an original box.

    Model 63 22LR 4" issues

Another possibility is the yoke barrel is a touch too long. Check if there is any cylinder end shake when the gun is cold. If there is not, then it is probably too tight and will get even tighter when the gun gets hot.

    J Frame hammer shims

I believe you are out of luck trying to find J frame shims or bearings. Some on here (including myself) have resized the OD of different K frame bearings to fit the application.

    k22 in original box

Probably several on the board here would be interested. Put it up for auction on gunbroker or auction arms. Something like you have, if mechanically sound, would fetch anywhere from $750 to $1200 depending on the day, etc.

    For the K-22 experts

rburg and handejector: Thanks for the heads up guys. Out of curiosity I would like to get my hands on it for a close up inspection and see what the historical details are. But in this case I will pass it up. My search continues for a vintage '47, needing a little work is ok.

    For the K-22 experts

Very interesting stuff. The one I am looking at has a ser # on the butt with a K 3000 something putting it in the 1947 year. But it also has the four line. I havn't handled it but just from pictures and owners description. The finish is supposed to be original.

    For the K-22 experts

Would a K four digit frame number always have the one line "Made in the USA", or would there be exceptions that would have the four line address? I am looking at the Standard Catalog. Thanks
