I also have a model 18 with a swapped 6" barrel. Mine is a 18-2. Very accurate gun.

    Model 18 Full Lug

I don't have anything new to add but I do have a model 18 with a 6" barrel. It was re-barrelled by a previous owner but looks great and shoots just as good.

    Model 18-2 changes

Excellent info. My guess is the barrel was changed by a pretty good gunsmith. I can't wait to shoot it to see if it shoots as good as it looks.

    Model 18-2 changes

I recently purchased a Model 18-2 but it has a 6" barrel. From anything I can find online the 6" doesn't belong on a M18 so I assume it was changed out at some point. I sold another M10 a few months back with rubber grips so I gave that guy first chance on the grips... of course he wants them all. The 3rd set is actually the most comfortable (round bottom) for my small hands but has the...

    Wood Stock Dilemma

When I purchased my Model 10-7 it had rubber grips so I got a set of original wood stocks which I found here on the forums. Since then I lucked into 3 more sets on auction and I don't know which set to keep. My model 10 is approximately 1979, the closest stocks are early 80's. My M10 is a...

Excellent. I had it narrowed down to two year from what I could find around the net. Thanks.

Year of Manufacture of my K frames

My first one is a 19-3 serial #9K67xxx Next is a 10-7 serial #4D77xxx Both came with rubber grips so I've been looking for originals but many don't ship to Canada. Model 19 picture as received. More pictures to follow.
