    What would have been the standard grip used on this revolver during Vietnam? Would it have been the original S&W wooden grips?

    Wow! I paid $300 Cad and it's in good shape. I was just told due to the early serial number it's probably a 1970 production. I wonder if it saw any action or carry in Vietnam? Thanks for your help fellas.

    Can any one help me find the date of production for my Mod. 60 (no dash), serial# is R37823. What would you say this is worth? Could this have been used in Viet Nam? Thanks
