    3" Model 65

Would love to see the 3" Model 65 reintroduced. Kicking myself for not buying one when they were out, although, truthfully, quality at that time wasn't that great. The 686 3" available now is nice, but a bit heavy.

    M&P 22 preferred ammo

M&P diet preferences I've had real good luck with the Federal value pack (375) ammo, 36 grain HP high velocity (1260 fps stated velocity). Aguila 40g standard velocity (box says .22 Aguila SuperExtra) also works well. My experience with Winchester white box is that it would jam a...

Newbie needs help with .45 ACP

Joe, Sounds like you're doing pretty much everything right. As others have pointed out, don't get too crazy about the overall case length - it's going to vary some, and the variances you reported aren't bad at all. As far as avoiding pressure spikes, the two obvious biggies are 1) too much...

    Range Photos-Armalite 180

That brought back some memories. The Arlington, TX police department used the AR180 for their first Tactical Unit back in the late 70's. I lugged one around during some training exercises, but never got to shoot one as I wasn't selected for the team.

re: Picked up a 3913 today - pictures

Congratulations on acquiring a great little pistol. You might want to consider putting a set of Hogue grips on it. That really worked well for me. You should have a very reliable pistol. I've got over 7,000 rds through mine, mostly my 115g ball reloads, but a considerable cross-section of...

    Remington thunderbolt

I had a brick of Remington Golden Bullet hiding in the closet when I got my 15-22, and it had a very high malfunction rate. I've had the same problem with Winchester Wildcat, which converted a perfectly reliable Ruger 10-22 into a jam-o-matic.
