WOULD YOU WAIT FOR AMMO AND ???

I live about 10 minutes from a local Cabelas. A salesperson told me that when they open their doors at 9am, there is always a mob of people, sometimes numbering about 200, camped out and waiting to get in to strip the shelves. This Cabelas limits folks to 10 boxes of ammo per caliber...maybe...

    Ammo question.

If that's the case, then paying 38 cents per round doesn't seem that bad of a deal. 9mm is very hard to come by, anywhere.

    Ammo question.

That comes out to about 38 cents per round. At a recent gun show in Fort Worth, I've seen some sellers asking close to 70 cents and higher per round for a box of 50, and they wouldn't negotiate. I did find a dealer with a few 1000-round cases of JHP and bought one which came out to roughly 27...

    Question about "Tulammo"

I think that's another falsehood and, if not, subjective at best. I've used Tulammo in my 1911 and have not noticed an excessive amount dirt or grime afterwards. But like I said, the level of "dirtiness" is very subjective and will vary from one person to the next.

    Question about "Tulammo"

Haven't tried it in either of my 9mm pistols, but I have put about 700 rounds of Tulammo .45 ACP through my 1911 without a single problem.

    TruGlo Tritium Fiber Optic(TFO) sights

I have the 3-green setup on my Shield. Even in pitch blackness, they're highly visible on the nightstand. I may give the "epoxy drop" a try, though.

    M&P 22 question

You're right about that. I ended up getting two 12-rd mags from Midwest, and an additional two direct from S&W.

    M&P 22 question

That's not a bad price, considering the "gun climate" nowadays. That's about what I paid for mine a few months back in November before the SHTF. For reference, I saw one at a gun show here in Fort Worth this past weekend and the asking price was $499...damn gougers. Problem now is finding...

    M&P22 feedback??

As others have said, the M&P22 is a great, fun "little" gun to practice with at the range. You can easily blow through several hundred rounds without even realizing it. I wouldn't recommend using Winchester 36 gr in the 525 bulk pack...too inconsistent. My first box had very few FTF/FTE...

    s&w warranty isn't bullet proof

Find out the cost and buy the replacement, and ask that they also return the damaged gun to you. Since the damaged gun has nothing to do with S&W, they shouldn't balk at sending it back to you. Hopefully, you still have the box that the suspect ammo round was in...maybe you could pull a lot...

    M&P 22 preferred ammo

When I first bought the M&P22, I started with a box of the Winchester 525 packs of 36 gr ammo. These seemed to work OK with very few problems. Out of the 525, I had very few FTE or FTF problems. That didn't seem too bad, so I bought a 2,100-round bulk pack of the same. This batch is not...

Will you buy a Shield at MSRP ???

I paid more than list for my 9mm Shield...I just simply got tired of waiting more than 5 months and grabbed the only one at a gun show a few months back. No regrets either. At the same gun show yesterday in Fort Worth, some private owner was asking $650 for a NIB 9mm Shield...didn't notice any...
