Tried everything else, shoulder holster next?

M&P Shield carry I have a Shield 9PC and utilize several holsters/carry styles. My favorite that keeps it easy to get to and hides it is a combo of a DeSantis executive half-harness combined with a small holster that's specific to the gun. The harness hangs the weight of the pistol from the...

    Franzite grips.

Franzites Everyone has opinions and while Franzites were never a long-tern grip solution for gun owners they have always filled a niche and had a strong following. Generally people who scorn them are those recently crowned 'collectors' who are thrilled to pay $300+ for a set of Coke bottles...

How does the hand spring fit on 442/642

Thank you for the photos. I am apparently in a condition of dotage but by using your photos I was able to get the hand spring back in place.

    9mm Ultra

9mm ultra [This is the same as the .380 round, two questions; can you fire .380 ammo in it, if not, what is the difference in the two cartridges? Anybody have one of these shooters? How do you load for it. I noticed today that Fiocchi now sells ammunition for the 9mm Ultra.

    S&W Wood Grips 686-6

N Frame Not to be contrary but I like the round butt on my M21-4 a lot. I have a nice set of factory RB grips on it and it hides very well in the winter. Not so much in the summer.

    M-21-4

I recently found another M21, .44 S&W Special, 4" nickeled with iron sights and brought it home. Had nearly given up finding a new S&W in nickel plate and I have always like the big N-frames with iron sights. This makes two for me and they are home to stay.

Any one elses m&P 9 look like this

Slide gap... I have an M&P 45 and it has a slanting gap like yours. I also looked at the photos on the S&W website and the M&Ps they show ALL have the angled gap. They didn't seem to get worried about it so I am going to follow their lead and ignore it unless it suddenly gets much worse.

    M&P .45

The trigger on mine was scratchy at the breaking point and I decided to shoot it and see how many rounds I would need before it "shot in" and got better. I figured on 50-75 rounds. Would you believe it took 10 rounds to smooth up? I am impressed with this pistol.

    M&P .45

I have shied away from Smith autos since they started to make'em from plastic. I have plenty of revolvers and a 669 but was content with my Glocks. Today I was in the toy store and looked over a M&P .45 and liked what I saw...So I brought it home. It came with two barrels, one of which was...

    Franzite grips.

Blast from the past... I am addicted to older Colt guns. I have 1911s, Commanders, A beautiful Python and an old style Trooper .357. Today I went to the toy store and found a circa 1966 Colt Detective Special with white, junky Franzite grips on it. They haven't warped but they look to have...

    What generation do I have?

Thanks Thank you for the reply

    What generation do I have?

I have a Model 669, sn: TAJ 2xxx. It seems to be early with the snap on grip panels. I am very fond of it but am curious what generation it is? I am sure it is early. Back from when S&W still made great guns and before they began to just make OK ones.

Lone Wolf barrels Thomas H. In future you can also buy Lone Wolf barrels with the logo under the chamber and the top plain. It is a little garish but I have several in Glocks and I don't really mind it. Nice guns.

Good advice if you’re involved in a shooting.

Not really... Perhaps there have been locally different situations. Officers DO have the option of shutting up. Any citizen does and their rights are not abrogated by their Profession. As for "league lawyers"...I was sued, (eventually I went to depositions and the plaintiff's lawyer dropped...
