I have seen that on a few of them, my M&P45 has a droopy dust cover, There is a thread where one of our members fixed his DDC with some spring clamps and a heat gun.

Called s&w they said it was fine took it to a gun smith he said the same just looks funny looks like the polmer dips at the end
is it normal for the recoil spring to not be all the way seated down on the barrel when striped for cleaning noticed i can seat it all the way put it back together tack it back apart and its not seated all the way its not all the way off the barrel
I read in another thread that the Take Down Lever (TDL) is pulling it out of position during the field strip.
I wonder what effect these distorted frames have on resale value?
