    Thank's for the info I had to go look at it again, :eek: it does have a "S" before the # Wow I knew it was a keeper when I bought it, now I love it even more. Where can I find serial# date info? Thank's for the warm welcome. Norbert

    Hello all I recently purchased these Smith's and would like to know when they were made. First is a five screw Highway Patrolman #S1272xx The other is a model 18 #18K 55XX Both of them are in excellent condition. Thanks NK
