I have the Ameriglo sights that are modeled after the henie straight eights. Green front and rear. Front has white ring around it. Forget what the model number is.

I just bought one and have to say it is the best 22 pistol I have ever owned. Shoots great and super accurate. Straight out of the box and didn't even have to adjust the sights. Hits everything I want.

Talon grips I put a set on my shield awhile back and they looked great and felt great but they just did not hold up.

By the way, I call the Tagua belt slide my goldilocks holster. It doesn't fit too tight, it doesn't fit too loose, it fits juuusst right.

I just bought a Tagua open top slide holster molded for the Springfield XDS. Fits the 22 compact beautifully.

My 40 shield has eaten everything I feed it. Flat points, hollow points even reloads. 165 grain and 180 grain. All work great.

I own a glock 42 and love it. Use it everyday as a backup to my glock 22 Off duty I carry my M&P 40. Love it and when I retire it will be my everyday carry. The glock 42 is very nice to shoot and is very accurate. My shield 40 is a pleasure to shoot and is also accurate, very easy to conceal.

I would say that at this point the 22 compact is one of the best 22 pistols I have ever owned. I traded off my GSG 1911 22 for it. No comparison in the way the 22 compact shoots compared to the 1911 22.

My shields shoot great. I do have to have the front sight just a hair to the left of bore centerline. After that they are very accurate. At 7 yards I can place all shots in the x ring.

So far it eats anything I feed it.
