I've shot some pretty ugly and messed up bullets out of my guns over the years and to be honest, I saw little difference in performance.

I've a set of these in Super Rosewood on my 686. They were quite uncomfortable to shoot with in stock form. So were the stock "357" grips that were on the gun from the factory. After one visit to the range with them on, I took them right back off. They were punishing to shoot, even worse than...

Went to my LGS and tried to love that new XD 10mm and just couldn't get past that horrible grip. I was hoping S&W would have one but NOOOO! I want a polymer 10mm that fits my hand. GLOCK doesn't, not even close. I picked up a mod. 2 XD .45 though. Still wanting a 10mm. Come on S&W!! : (

Some more fuel for the fire. I own several GLOCKS and even built one of those Polymer 80 compact guns. I love my GLOCKS but when I went on the hunt for a thinner/smaller carry option, I chose the S&W Shield over the GLOCK 43. Why? Because the Shield is simply a better gun all the way around...
