Guys,
I got it fixed. The sear deactivator was holding it back so I used a fishing hook and a pair of needle nose pliers to free it up then tapped on the back of the slide and it came right off. Thank you all the help. If you're ever in Eastern NC I'll buy ya a beer :D
I've tried this with and without the magazine and it keeps stoping about 1/2" too short. I have no idea what it could be catching on but I am scared to beat on the slide and bend whatever it maybe catching on.
Rastoff,
I tried that and the slide moved about an inch forward. Think you're right about the feed ramp. I've attached some pictures that show the progress but now it is locked up again. Im trying not to beat the thing to death but just a simple tap loosened that slide up a lot.
Autococker07,
Yeah im trying to find a strong enough hook to attempt that. I was trying a fishing hook and needle nose pliers earlier but just can get that grip to pull down the lever.
And dont worry that guy wont answer my phone calls and hasn't come around the house today
Marine6680,
I tried to do that but I cant reach the sear deactivation lever. I may try to come up from that mag slot with metal hook of some sort and pull down and see if that helps.
BKreutz,
Just tried that but I cant get the slide to come all the way back. Im trying not to force it too much...
Guys,
One of my friends got a hold of my pistol and thought he was Clint Eastwood. He tried to field strip it and has messed it up way past my knowledge. I can not get to the sear deactivator and have no idea how to fix this. I know I can take it to a gunsmith but I am broke and cant afford to...
