I've got the same model but in nickel. All of my other handguns are very jealous of the range time I spend with the Model 27! What a sweet shooter, indeed! Bayou52

I just applied some Johnson's Paste Wax to a nickel plated Model 27-2. Really makes that shine pop. Like a mirror finish! Just for fun, I applied a coat of the Johnson's Paste Wax to a blued Model 28-2. Made that finish shine like the dickens as well! Bayou52

Same here. It was squirrel hunting on Thanksgiving morning and the day after together with high school buddies. We hit the swamps of St. Tammany Parish. Fond memories! Bayou52
