My model 27-2

Was at a LGS just a few minutes ago. They had a 27-3 Nickeled for $1500.00 without a box.

Took my 27-2 to the range this morning and shot what a friend calls a target to keep you humble.

Was back to the range this morning. Trying to make up for the Humbling Target". Think I did do so..........

With my almost 65-year-old eyes that were severely damaged 60 years ago, I would have been perfectly happy to shoot the target from Post #11!

Hard to beat a nickel 27-2, for sure. This one is a 1977 vintage model which I bought in 1979:

Very nice model 27 . I do not have a 6” one but my 6-1/2” one
has the red ramp. My 8-3/8” 27s have Patridge front sight
That I prefer.
