I think in the end I am going to put another 500 rounds through it. I live in Illinois, so I won't even be able to carry it till about March. If it hasn't loosened up after about 500 more rounds, I will revisit the issue.
I am currently looking for a light revolver that I can pocket carry. I am a large guy and IWB is never comfortable; therefore, not an option. I hear J-frame's are the best for pocket carry.
What would be a good place for me to start? I know I want a revolver due to reliability and I have...
I did the same thing when I first got my Shield. The final click on the trigger is very sudden compared to the P226 and XDm I am used to. It took me a lot of practice, but I have it down now. I too was worried my gun was off.
Pretty much what I figured, but I am a bit OCD about my firearms. I love the Shield. I may even get a regular M&P for home defense now. Thank you for you input.
This may be a non-issue, but I want your opinions. I bought a Shield recently. When I rack the Slide all the way back and let go the bullet chambers just fine. If I ride the slide forward(which I really don't do) the slide will stop about and 1/8th of an inch from the front.
I am wondering...
