    New competition in town - Mossberg 22LR

    The December 2010 issue of the American Rifleman evaluates a group of AR-15 type 22's and the Mossberg 702 comes out at the bottom of the price and accuracy pile. The S&W 15-22 had an Average Extreme Spread of 1.71" for 3 types of ammo while the 702 is 2.25," both at 50 yards. Interesting article.

    model 52

    Bearhunter, The Model 52 is one of the finest out-of-the-box center fire target pistols ever made. Very accurate, great trigger and nicely finished by S&W. Even my wife does very well shooting the 52. Only limitation is the flush mounted .38 wadcutter ammo. Not readily available and pricey...

    Model 41 Tigger Guard problems?

    I'm very new to the Forum, although I have been lurking here for years. I would suggest that you let the slide slowly go forward, and then try closing the trigger guard. I know that is not the correct procedure, but it works every time on my M41. Bob
