Today at the range my wife's 22compact had an amusing incident. After feeding the last round the base plate disengaged, slipped off and launched the retainer. Never saw that happen before. We were able to recover all but the retainer. Will call CS tomorrow to get a replacement. Anyone else...

My 22 Compact will shoot any hv ammo reliably except browning and federal automatch. Any other brand delivers 100% reliability, however the automatch will fail to feed about 5 or 6 times per 200 rounds. The browning is just garbage ( based on my experience in my 22 ).
