    I am getting a nice 39-2 shortly, and being a lefty wanted to know if it was possible to install a safety/decocking lever on the right side of the slide (I really hope so ...) I believe I have already located the part/lever, but didn't know if it was a major or complicated job to install ...

    I picked up a couple of nice examples recently, and took both the range today. Both had been cleaned, thoroughly. Ammo was new Winchester White Box. First one was flawless, couldn't ask for better ... Second one was consistently giving me light primer strikes, 2-3 rounds per cylinder...

    I think I have a circa mid 50's J Frame... Larger trigger guard, flat latch, in .38 Sp., w/ only a serial # Just a 5 digit serial #: 9216X Could someone perhaps look this up and give me a date of manufacture ? W/ sincere appreciation ...
