Do you all think that outfitting my FS M&P .40 with a strobe light is a worhwhile investment? I think I need a light but I think a standard light would have the unintended consequence of revealing myself to a BG and a strobe light is disorienting enough that it would light up a target...

I have a S&W M&P 9mm and want to have it quickly accessable in the car (not in the glove box or console) yet secure (not sliding around freely on the floor). What works for you guys. I have a Florida CCP so I'm not impared by the 2 step rule. Thanks for your thoughts.
Is the .22 also a good trainer for the S&W 40? The guy at the gun store told me it would be and the target ammo for the .22 is significantly less expensive.
