Barrel looks typical. Hard to determine if it is rust, but as it was already stated, pitting is your concern. I am definitely one that would go over a used pistol with a magnifying glass-- that is why I abstain from purchasing them :D If it is going bang, enjoy it!

Nothing says family time like range time. The P365 is such a niche gun, and IMO, overpriced. That is not to say I wouldn't mind having one, but the EZ covers a bit more in a general sense, for a more appropriate price point. J frame to EZ may be an adjustment, congrats on the pickup!
