I recently bought a Performance Center 1911. Beautiful firearm, only problem was the black coloration of the barrel. I disassembled it and polished the barrel on my polisher. It really did help the looks and really dressed it up. The reason I did this, is the black on the barrel at the ejection...
I had one made by Betz Gun Leather, Gary Betz. I had Gary make one for my 642 Power Port and its super quality and great looking. Very reasonably priced. You can look him up on Google, but if you want his email let me know. I also got a couple 8 rd Wilson Combat mags for it.
Altamont stock grips
Folks I have the Altamont grips on my new Performance Center 1911 and I love them. Thats what Smith installs on the 1911 Performance center 1911.
I also have 642 power port just like this with the same color and type grips. Love it. I got 340PD used a few months back, nice but I like my 642. Sweet.
I purchased the Performance Center SR 1911 .45 with the ported slide. I haven't fired it, but the feel and the trigger are phenomenal . Smooth as a baby's butt. They are fairly scarce now. I am getting a lot of compliments on it and the article in Hand Guns is great. Its very smooth and tight...
I own a 642-2 power port and a 340PD. I have had both of them worked on as far as trigger and it made a big difference. The 642-2 power port is one super little revolver. The only thing I have considered is adding a Crimson Trace. I dont know which model would be best. Essentially all you...

I am looking for a pocket holster for my smith 642-2, prefer leather.
All help would be appreciated.
I bought this little 642-2 power port pro and I just love it and want a pocket holster for it, I already have a great belt slide for it but want to be able to carry it in pocket.
