    SIG P320 Discharges?

One thing I have learned through this incident is that the manual safety only blocks the trigger and does not stop the firing pin. This could be fixed, no?

    SIG P320 Discharges?

Greetings Old Salt! Your point, however valid, is not held to be decisive. Not sure why, but here is my thinking. In the clickbaiting YouTuber videos which recreate and demonstrate the FBI's finding, they are indeed moving the trigger a tiny bit. Then they are bumping the slide a little bit...

Favorite 38 spl self defense load

158 grain LSWC in the cylinder, 130 grain Federal FMC in the speed strips. 158 grain LRN in the speed loader.

That's a Smith & Wesson. And you've had your six.

Any problem Crockett can solve with a 45, Tubbs can solve with a two inch 38 Bodyguard Airweight! 😊

Interesting Averages for shots fired in a Self-Defense

Thank you for this comment. My uninstructed opinion is that the cops we see on YT videos who "spray and pray" are essentially using muscle memory. They are not using flash sight picture or front sight or any other form of aiming. Kind Regards! BrianD

Interesting Averages for shots fired in a Self-Defense

I have often thought about how it is that re-curve bow archers have success with instinctive shooting, but with a handgun it just does not work.

Interesting Averages for shots fired in a Self-Defense

As best I can figure, and we had the same problem coaching teens in basketball and soccer, what they are doing is making a mental aiming confirmation on the "feeling" of the muscles. It does not work partly because your muscles vary in strength and speed day to day and never exactly feel the...

    Driving through a non-reciprocal state?

I concur regarding NJ, and I am saying this is the situation in DC also, or at least it was for some time past.

    ProMags for my 3914?

Rosewood is a sharp one on this forum and one from whom we always learn something. In this case he is very clear and specific, which is helpful.

I Am So Sick Of Hearing the Term.....

Young people simply have accepted as true the philosophical basis of group identity, which does not hold up under any honest critical scrutiny. The notion that there is any connection between the people who wallowed in the mud in Viet Nam and those who wallowed in the mud at Woodstock is absurd!

    ProMags for my 3914?

I have two promags for my 3913nl. They are fine. I did have some trouble with a promag that I had for a 4506. After 15 years the spring was a little weaker so I replaced it with new from Wolff. Before it would just feed the rounds into the chamber, but now it will feed the rounds into the...

    Is the .40 dead ? Let's see some !

I have a Model 411 which is my preferred sidearm, and I also own a model CS40 which is the weak side backup. I could not be more pleased with them. I am so thankful for people saying that the 40 is dead, because this widespread superstition has allowed me to afford and own both of these...
