    The OD 15-22

I picked up my son's in OD green at the Academy store in Tulsa at Christmas. I didn't know it was rare then, only that my only other color choice in stock was pink camo.

    How many own a .223/5.56

I bought the 15-22 for my son for Christmas, so he would have something better to shoot while I was shooting my chainsaw. But I enjoyed shooting it a little too much. Started looking into AR-15's, but I couldn't find one configured the way that I wanted. After a lot of research, I decided to...

    Fore grip choice?

I just looked it up. It was actually $36.50, not $34 that I paid for them. I was going off of the top of my head when I posted that. I got them on Amazon.com.

    Fore grip choice?

I have always been a fan of Pachmayr grips on handguns. I found this set of Tacstar grips (which is a sister company of Pachmayr) for about $34 for both front and rear grips. They feel great and you can position the front where ever you like and fold it up.

    Pistol Grips on the 15-22

I have always liked Pachmayr grips for my guns, but for this one I went with Tac Star. Tac Star and Pachmayr are owned by the same company, their advertising suggests that they are now sharing designs. This Tac Star set feels as good as some of my Pachmayr's on other guns, but was about half...

    Rail Covers and Rit Dye

It needs to be lighter. The dye just adds color, it can't remove it.

    Rail Covers and Rit Dye

I've used the Rit dye to color plastic parts on my 45 mph remote control 4wd truck. The dye actually goes in pretty good, small scratches won't show. You want the dye very hot, then let it soak until you get the desired color. Some of the blue parts in this pic were originally grey.

    M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

Ok, here is mine. I just put the browning Trophy XLT 3-9X40 scope on it this week, I haven't had the chance to zero it in yet. I've always been an iron site guy, this will be my first scope. The only other mod is the TacStar grip set. I really bought this for my 13 year old son. I have been...
