From what I being seeing lately any day the Shield .40 doesn't blow up in your hand is a good day.

After seeing the Kabooms in this forum I traded in my shield 40. Don't want it to blow up in my hand I traded another old gun with it and got a Glock23 and 200 rounds of American eagle ammo.

They have a Cabelas and a Bass pro a hour from me and I love making a weekend trip to them.

I just traded my Shield 40 in at my local gun shop and got me a OD green Glock 23. I shoot with my nephew and niece a lot and I don't want a Kaboom to happen to them or myself. Just seems like to many reports of this for my taste.

I am asking 30 bucks shipping included and I would like to use paypal. Also make sure you know your state laws about high cap mags. Its brand new unused just isn't in any packaging.

I have a 40 shield and it has been flawless for about 375 rounds I put through it. But I think it is time to get rid of it because I don't want this to go kaboom on me or my nephew I take shooting all the time. And it is making me feel less impressed with Smiths customer service for not...

I had a couple light strikes with only with WWB ammo. Everything else ran perfect.

I bought my shield 40. in November 2013 and have put every type of ammo I can through it with out a single problem in over 500 rounds.

For a Bodyguard 380 with XS bigdot sights installed on it a extra mag. I bought it a month ago and put 112 rounds through it 100 speer lawman and 12 critical defense. I just had some thing come up on my house that need repairs so I am looking to sell a few things to help pay for it.

I have owned both. If you are on a budget get the SD but if not the G19 has so much more accessories such as 33 round Mags cheaper sight upgrades and a lot easier to find find parts for.

I have the Shield 40 and I love it. Really great gun.

Dam I have a 40 shield and have about 300 rounds through it. It has been flawless and accurate but seeing these threads makes me weary.
