Honestly some firearms really don't like the rubber filling on the Critical Defense/Duty.
A have a couple of Jerichos that are finicky with it.
Also a 9mm AR barrel, even had the feed cone worked over by Macon Armory.
Everything else ran pretty well.
Truglo sights are very tight and need to be fitted. They appear to be melonited so crush fitting them to the dovetail isn't going to happen. Ameriglos on the other hand are very soft steel, so you can usually crush fit those. The Truglo sights will either bend or crack if you try this.

Sorry I didn't mean the gun was defective. Just the metal/machining on the barrel was a defect. I really want to like this thing and I think I was just off to a rough start.
Really glad to hear yours has been treating you good. I installed night sights, replaced the faulty guide rod and got the...
I'll be contacting S&W. My Full Size M&P's look perfect. I've held off on shooting at the moment. I had to request a new guide rod because the one it shipped with turned out to be bent. So far I'm having bad luck with this thing. I want to see what they say before I start putting rounds through...
I haven't been having much luck with firearms lately. This shield 45 actually had a bent guide/recoil rod out of the box. S&W Shipped that to me no problem.
So on closer inspection I discovered this:
Does anyone else have a Shield 45 with these notches in the feed ramp? I just wanted to...
lol I just found it annoying is all.
The 2.0 is a thin piece of stamped steel.
The 1.0 is actually a steel rod and is a tighter fit and retains the back strap better.
It's kind of a joke the 2.0 is also supposed to double as a lanyard connection point. I don't believe it would be very...
Sorry if it's been mentioned before.
When I purchased my M&P2.0 45 one issue I had was the looseness of the take down tool with smaller back straps.
But the gen 1 back straps and tool will fit the 2.0
The gen 1 tool fixed my issue.
I prefer the gen 1 tool over the gen 2. I ended up using a...
Asking $80 Shipped No Longer Avail. Mods please close/lock

The laser works well and has held zero so far. (500...
If the gun is in fact brand new. You could possibly get close to what you paid for it.
Only downside to selling online is the ridiculous shipping costs to ship a handgun.
I'd try local first. Even on other forums as well.
Actually did a few sales face to face on ARFCOM of all places.
WTS the following ALL ITEMS SOLD
1x "NIB" Front Night Sight. It has a bright orange ring. This is brand new from Ameriglo, I decided not to use it. SOLD
1x Set of used IDOT Pro Sights. The rear has some minor wear, and the front might have some handling wear as well. But the tritium is...
In my opinion the new production M&P's with just a polished striker block are equal to, if not better than a Glock factory trigger.
It's either a 10 minute job, or a $30 part. I find that most of the grit is eliminated with a smoothed Striker Block.
I like the fact the finish is either melonite or some kind of nitride process.
I had Ameriglo IDOT Pros and the rear sight was prone to rusting..
Broke my heart to see that after I just got my slide refinished. Granted it was only in transit 3 days and had rust on the sights like that. (AL...
