Ergonomics, and it works as well as a Glock in all other respects. Install a better trigger and you're a winner. I love my M&P45 much better than a G21, especially with the FSS trigger.
My M&P45 was transformed by the FSS. I hated the factory trigger so badly that after the first range session, I was ready to sell the gun. After installing the FSS, the M&P45 is now probably my favorite non-1911 .45. The pistol is entirely changed and now I wouldn't own and M&P without a FSS.
I hate to say it, but the bluing on a pre-WWII Colt cannot be rivaled by any other commercially made handgun in history. Their single action pull is fantastic and they're simply beautiful guns. I don't care for the trigger stacking so I don't shoot mine much, but by God they are lookers.
