    Recoil springs (m&p9)

Muzzle energy of a 147 vs 124 is only about 10% less. Are you having problems? Usually, a firearm is designed to be used with any factory ammo load. A lighter recoil spring may end up causing feeding problems (not stiff enough to strip a round from a full mag AND chamber it fully.)

    M&P 2.0 9mm Problems

Tight chamber. Had a 9mm (of a different manufacturer) that would not pass plunk test with my reloads. The reloads passed a Dillon Precision 9mm case gauge test, but would not fully chamber. Called mfg, was told that when they ream chamber, they use a factory ammo 9mm round to check, then stop...

Shield 9 hyve +2 extension problems

FWIW - I carry with the 8 rounder installed, but the HYVE mag is in my mag holder. Used them at the range several times, no problems. If any start to exhibit problems, then it's time for a new spring.

Smacking the base of a mag

Hmmmm.... Took barrels out of a 1911 and M&P and reassembled the slides. Inserted magazine, noticed plenty of clearance between mag lips and bottom of slide. Don't see how the mag lips are getting bent from slapping home. Watch some IPSC and USPSA videos - these guys and gals are doing tactical...

Shield 9 hyve +2 extension problems

Had same problem. No response from HYVE. Got on bench sander, and started sanding top of mag extension (follow the existing shape) until mag would lock in and leave about 0.5 - 1 mm gap. Space is needed - you want to just PAST the mag lock for it to grab. You don't have to completely...
