Can anyone recommend pants, preferrably designed for pocket carry? I DON'T want the tactical looking pants. They scream "he's carrying" to me. I am really looking for a Dockers style, casual look. I usually carry a Shield. Not looking for something to accomodate a Desert Eagle. CCE...

That's a pretty subjective question. But in my case the answer is yes... They introduced the Shield 2.0 .380 EZ.

The Route 66 trip is nice. Have done it myself. If your time permits, you should try to loop somewhat further north, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota (Black Hills) and a number of other worthwhile stops. We did a 2 week road trip through that area 2 years ago. Did not regret a second of it...

If they have included a pre-paid envelope for returning my "contribution", I fold up all the **** they sent me and return it to them at their expense. If not, it goes in the trash. I get a lot of "cold calls" too, on my cell phone. Often identified by simply by a state name. I don't answer...

No "dog catcher" where I live. The Sherrif's Department does not respond to loose animal calls. The local Humane Society makes you bring the animal to them. I say use your best judgement. That might include putting them down, especially if they are on my property.

I think it probably is. When I was growing up there were no gun magazines that I recall (NRA publications aside). In fact, even into the seventies I only remember Shotgun News. So you could make the argument we are returning to those "good old days", at least when it comes to magazines...
