My favorite S&W would have to be my 4040PD, even though I'm not a huge fan of the .40cal. It just carries so well, shoots soft and is very accurate.

The 4040PD changed my opinion of the .40 caliber. Just a great carry weapon.

A big S&W 10mm fan here, just a heads ups for everyone. One is for sale on a large "Gun auction site" Just in case someone is looking.

I like the 4576, but I've always had a thing for the S&W with frame mounted decocker. Would go nice with my 1026 and 1076.

I would go with the 4040PD, I picked one up last year for a great price and could not be happier. While I've never been a big fan of the .40 round this weapon changed my mind! Easy to carry, light and one of the most accurate pistols I own. It took the place of my Glock 33 as my goto CCW.
