I like the 4576, but I've always had a thing for the S&W with frame mounted decocker. Would go nice with my 1026 and 1076.

I have a 4566, excellent gun. I also have a 4526, frame decocker. The 4566 would be easier find and probably more reasonably priced. There were not that many 4576's produced. Bottom line you really can't go wrong with either one.

I own the 4586 and I like it. Very smooth, no hammer spur to snag on clothing, DAO, but the action is very easy to work with.

They would pretty much be equal on all counts, the lack of the slide mounted safety on the '76 really the only differance. Both require a good holster and are heavy for everyday carry.

Last year I stumbled across a 4576 and could not resist buying it.I also have a 4516 ,a 4566 and a 4506 .All 3 were my duty weapons at the PD . I purchased a 1076 also which was a new in the box Raleigh,NC PD gun that was never issued.I stole that one $400.I really like the frame mounted decockers which to me are easier to manipulate than the slide mounted one.

They would pretty much be equal on all counts,.

You apparently have never seen "Spinal Tap". The 4567 is obviously 1 more than the 4566!

Edited to add; Thought we were talking about the 4567, must be dyslexic. Well then, the 4576 is ten more than the 4566!
