    5 screw S&W K frame LOCKING BOLT

Is the locking bolt on a 5 screw K different than a current bolt? I have one that needs replacing.

    32 & 38 Regulation Police

I have been shooting mine. Fun guns, very small, but pleasant to shoot with the extended grip and 4 1/4" barrel. They have the cuteness factor. When did they stop putting the recessed gold medallion in the grip? Neither of mine say made in USA

    32 & 38 Regulation Police

I take it the 38 and 32 had their own serial number ranges.

    32 & 38 Regulation Police

Both have the extended wood grips with gold medallions. Neither have a trademark stamp on the frame.

    32 & 38 Regulation Police

When did they start heat treating the cylinders on these I think my 38 was 1917 from the low number, the 32 much later in the high 200 thousands.

    32 & 38 Regulation Police

I have a 38 S&W marked Regulation Police # 4270, and a 32 S&W that looks exactly the same # 287580. The 32 is not marked Regulation Police. Is the 32 still considered a Regulation Police? I think the 38 was made 1917, the 32 probably much later.

    S&W N Frame grip question

No, can't post pictures here. They have gold medallions, and are actually the nicest grips for a S&W I have ever seen. That's why I thought they might have been on performance center or custom shop guns.

    S&W N Frame grip question

I checked Altamont, but they do not make a grip identical to the S&W early diamond pattern.
