I have my 31-1 with me most of the time and when it's not the Beretta Tomcat(.32 acp) or my feg AP-MBP (.32 acp) takes it's place, I also use the NAA 1 1/8" .22 mag as a bug at all times. Carry what works for you and make no apologies, Enjoy and be safe.

Excellent range gun a true shooter, i enjoy mine and refuse to part with it, but if you don't reload your own ammo it can get expensive. Enjoy and stay safe

Iver johnson sidewinder model 50 - 8 shot revolver it still serves me well, and a astra cub in .22 short that sits in the safe.

my choice is my 31-1 with 3" barrel (32 s&w long), i also enjoy my iver johnson sidewinder in .22lr, it's my oldie but goodie that just seems to fit just right.

The 31-1 with 2" or 3" barrel will work just fine in your situation the .32 s&w long ammo is very easy on the recoil and is an excellent starter for new comers who are recoil sensitive i have used it to start off family members to our sport and it has worked out just fine. p.s. i still use .22lr...
