It's the heel of the bottom of the frame that prints for me. The 8 rounder prints and the heel part being extended gets caught on my hand when I release the mag. I think I'm going with Pearce.

45c for sure. the frame ends right at the end of my digits perfectly, so no extra grip sticking out or a pinky extension necessary. The only thing I'd like is a thinner grip for where the web of my thumb/index sits

i trust Federal HST(Not the hydrashok or other ones), Speer Gold Dot and Hornady Critical Defense or Duty. HST when it's available, Gold Dots if HSTs aren't, and Hornady if I'm on a super tight budget. My 45 Compact's take down lever always snaps back.

Waiting for my CC license to be approved, and I keep debating between the M&P 9 compact and the shield. I've practice and carried the 45c in my home to get comfortable, and can actually conceal it with just a t shirt with no printing except when bending or stretching. Weight also is not an issue...
