Leave safety on. Reason I do it that way is because I occasionally carry a 1911. My M&P 40 also has a safety and carry it the same way. Consistency between different gun for me.

LOL!! I don't want to add another caliber to my inventory so I'm waiting on the .40 On the waiting list from my LGS. As soon as he gets one from Davidson's, I get my Shield. :D

Congrats!! I'm waiting on the 40 also. Don't have a 9 and don't want to add another caliber to my inventory (except for 45). Just got my M&P 15T Thursday so my M&P 40 FS has a big brother.. Gotta' ad the little brother once they're more readily avail.

Just picked up my 15T today. Love it. It has the 1-8" 5R, dust cover and forward assist. LGS ordered it and I paid 960 plus shipping and tax. 23 more out the door than Bud's, but this way I supported my local one man shop. As a retired vet, I also get a 100 rebate from S&W.

Nice!! Should be getting my 15T within a day or so. Can't wait!!

You missed something. It stated feeding as complaint for barrel replaced and sight adjusted for shoots left complaint.

Don't have a Shield yet, but I WILL get one when I can. I went ahead and ordered the Stage 3 from Old Faithful when they had the Memorial Day special.
