I was once told by a knowledgable shooter that the fixed sight model 21's shoot best using 200g cast. I use 200g RNFP .431. My 21-4 is a tack driver with those bullets on top of 5.5gr W231. I also have a Lew Horton 24-3 3" cutie that digests that load almost as well.

Any thoughts on loads for S&W model 21 4" barrel? Ive been pretty happy with some loads I shoot out of my Ruger with a 45/8" barrell but it tends to do best with 240 to 255 gr lead cast bullets with loads like 7 to 7.5 Gr unique.
