    I'm a nostalgic kinda guy, so I put a set of factory round butt magnas on my 69. I have small hands and figured they'd be good, wrong! With full house 44 mags they ate the web of my hand up. I'm not recoil shy by any means I've been shooting 44 mags and 454s for years but mostly single action...

    I just bought a model 69 .44 combat magnum and I love it, except for the grips. Has anyone else put aftermarket wood stag or ivory on this model yet?
