IMO - I owned a M&P22 for about 6 months before I fired the full full size 9 and then later a 40. The thousands of rounds that I put through the 22 (at a fraction of the cost of 9s) gave me enough of a feel for the gun that point and sight picture of the 9 were very natural. It is a different...
Thanks to your expert advice I successfully made a pair of these and I am super happy with them! I don't like the way the back side of the longer mag prints on my shirt when I carry, this solves that problem and still my pinky a place to be! :) Thanks a million for sharing!
This is another version that is more to the side. This one has the advantage of being out of the way of the slide so that you can remove the slide for cleaning without having to remove the optics. Also on scope mounts that go over the slide there is some danger of getting something caught...

This is a very simple mount made from 6061-t6. It works very well but I am wondering if there is not an inherent...
I have seen the 422 mounts that bolt on the bottom and have the scope centered above the rail (like the one pictured above), but have you seen one that goes to the side?

This is a top mount that I did for a Keltec PMR30. It is very sturdy and works quite well, I am curently working on a one sided model that is lighter.
I would like to mount the BSA holo sight that I have for my 15-22 on my M&P.22 pistol. I was thinking of making a mount that attached to the lower rail and cleared the slide for top mounting, but I got to thinking what if the holo sight was mounted at 90 degrees to the left of the gun in line...
I bought my 15-22 on Saturday and had to wait till Tuesday to shoot it :( It's Wednesday morning and I am still buzzing! I shot about 300 rounds through it and my buddies had to drag me out of the range to go to dinner. This is just a great gun! I am getting tight patterns, even with...
I recently bought a M&P.22 and I love it. After extensive research I had decided that I wanted a Ruger SR22 and went to the shop to buy it. The owner had one there that he said he would let me shoot to make up my mind. My second choice was the M&P.22 which a friend had there. I loaded 2 mags...
Thank you everyone for all the kind welcomes. This seems to be a friendly forum. I have been shooting at the Gun Store and Range in Leesburg, no I am not being evasive, that is the name of the place :) They do a backyard shoot on the first Thursday of each month and a bowling pin leauge on the...
I was recently invited by a good friend of mine to go shooting with him on Tuesdays. I told him that I could not afford to shoot on a weekly basis, but would love to go. That was when he showed me his beautiful M&P .22 semi auto and told me of all the fun he has with it at about .06 cents a...
