My doctor got a 5” S&W.38 special ctg. and he asked if I might have any info. I can’t get a pic small enough to be accepted?
The serial number is c 1389xx. I’ve used this forum a in the past but I don’t remember having so many problems trying to submit a picture? Any help would be appreciated...

I asked before but no one answered or I missed it? It is a 6" model 19-?, what year? I know my four screw '19-5, 4" '92 doesn't belong with this beauty (although a 99%, I hope) but I'm just trying to learn more about Model 19's. Any answer appreciated. We are not all experts...
Combat Magnum question.
Am I correct about the Combat Magnums having the relief cut for speed loaders? Mine is a 19-5 (.357) with Goncalo Alves grips that are large and cover the front of the frame.
It helps not only extract shell casings but makes speed loaders much easier to use. I didn't know the name until now that it is a "relief cut". Thanks. ; )

I shoot mine sparingly because it is a K-frame and I've been warned of possible damage from too much shooting? I found that 158gr. rounds don't heat up the barrel as much as "self defense rounds". A '92, she's 99%. In safe for 20 years from sellers next of kin. Just another great...
