What you are probably talking about is a magnifier. A magnifier is used in conjunction with a red dot or holographic sight to give longer range capability. It is placed in between the rear backup sight and the dot or holo. Hope this helps. If not post a pic of what your are talking about. Then...

The CTR has QD sling points and a locking mechanism that eliminates "rattle" or movement in the stock. Thats why the MOE is half the price. However if you don't need these options then it is a great deal. Both are good quality stocks. I will say though, i have both and i like the CTR alot more.

Hey maxi, I finally got my Larue index clips. Those things are sweet man. I left the Knight armament cover on the bottom though. It just feels better in my hand that way.

Sweet job man! I know it was tough just doing the hyphen in 15-22 on the right side without getting the colors crossed. So I know how tough it must have been to do the logo that way. Good job. Not doing anything with the other side of the receiver?

Well i tried the colorfil with crayola idea. I really like it! I especially like the fact that if i don't like it anymore or if i want to change the colors i can do so with impunity. Thanks for the idea.

Well after looking through all 28 pages of pics i thought i would throw mine in there. I just got it back from smith and it is working flawlessly. So i figure i can start the upgrade process. Let me know what you guys think.

I had double fires as well. I sent it back to smith and they fixed it. I haven't had a problem since.
