what is on the bottom of your hand guard?

Just recently bought mine :)

Love it. Ill post some pics of mine as soon as I get a chance, ive added some cool stuff to it.

I was reading through this thread and saw a post earlier saying "less is more" or whatever. Well thats one mans opinion..

I dont care if its a .22, Ive seen .22 do more damage than a higher caliber.
If the .22 doesnt kill, it WILL maim.

So dont feel bad when you dress up your 15-22, take pride in the fact that you live in the USA and you have every right to do whatever you want to do to your rifle :) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Pics soon...

I've seen a .22 take down a deer at 50 yards
30 yrs ago one of my dads buddies killed a small black bear in Fla. after 30+ rounds

Who feels bad.... the rifle has about 4 feet of rail space... what else is it for? ;)

That being said... us Long Gun 15-22 forum contributers here are getting slammed pretty good in the "Lounge" section of S&W forums. http://smith-wessonforum.com/lounge/119588-fake-suppressors.html

I was gonna post a reply but I figured that was probably the only fun they had this week. :D:D:D:D

Did you read that sentence "It goes against everything I was ever learned" ? Learn how to speak before you open the trap.

Personally, I do not like fake supressors. I think they are a worthless addition to any firearm, so I will never add one to any of mine. But the difference between the other naysayers and I is that I done give a crap what you do with your rifle so long as it's safe and sane. I will never try to convince anyone to not use/make one unless there is a valid logical reason to.

Unfortunately there are some people who feel that you must belittle others for harmless opinions that differ from their own, all in an effort to impress their peers, who also often do the same thing. I don't care for true mall ninjas, but adding a fake can alone does not classify you as one in my book. It takes quite a bit more than that IMO.

I couldnt agree more. I could care less what the next guy does to his rifle, because Im not the one paying for it, he is! i personally think a bi-pod on this gun is pointless, but others like them.. whatever makes them happy!

Well, assassins with a .22 can do some real damage with one well placed shot, but my 15-22 is definitely NOT for home defense.

I'd rather spray some serious lead, and do some mop up, a little extra drywall repair and re-carpeting, than to just tick off someone with a .22LR who may escape, and come back later for revenge ...

:D

Wow I'm impressed, I didn't know ass holes lived to be that age anywhere... we usually pinch them off like a turd around here by the age of 20... oh well I guess some 1 missed a few:D

Sorry for the rant I read threw all that bs in the lounge and had posted it before I could take a few breaths wooooosaaaaaaaaa

Just got what the dealer said was a second generation m&p 15-22. It is threaded and has a flash suppressor. Also stock is six position. They say the problem with misfires is fixed. Thru 400 rounds mine is great!!
