    John, My 617 no dash with the 8 3/8" barrel had the same counterbored muzzle. I did not buy it new, but I venture to say it had less than fifty rounds thru it. Bill

    Colt Double Eagle 10mm

    I am presently working on a load which will not lead the barrel of a 610 and have found that a cast 180 tc, BH-18, and 5.8 grs of Unique to be close to what I am looking for (no leading).

    SaxonPig Thanks for the information on my revolver. It is a 4inch 38 Special with all matching numbers including the grips. Condition is about 90 to 95 percent and will be put to use on the range. Thanks again.
