It's been around 5 years since I rented one but if my memory recalls correctly it's very manageable. The only reason I didn't finally get one was because of my FNX 45.

Just wanted to say hello. I found a good deal on a used M&P 40 and figured I could at least get my money back but am now hooked. Shoots better than any 40 I've ever handled.

I'm glad you started this thread. I just bought a used M&P 40 that's missing the white out of the front sight. I'm looking at Trijicon Tritium Night Sights because I had those on an FNS that I absolutely loved.
