OK, Thank you all again... We went to the range this afternoon and we were able to rent a Shield 9mm... My wife absolutely loved it... She had zero problems operating it... She put 150 rounds through it and it shot a little low at 10 yards... We ordered one, it should be here Tuesday afternoon...

Thank you all for your replies... She has a FS M&P 9 and has no problems operating it, she also shoots 1911's... My avatar is a picture of her shooting her heavily modified 1911...

You just center the dot on the target. No front sight needed with this type of sights. Here's a picture of my wife's 1911 with the FFII

The Sig MK 25 is the next pistol on my list.

It was very easy to sight in and target acquisition is fast for me. I don't use the FFII to pull the slide back.

I have a FFIII on a 1911 .45 with a dovetail mount, it's never moved or come lose.

No drilling or fitting needed with the Burris mount.

I put one on my M&P 22. I posted a photo of it in the M&P picture thread. Brownells sells the Burris Fastfire M&P mounts. No fitting required. It fits the M&P 22, 9, 40 and 45. Bottom of the page is the M&P mount...
