Just FYI, most of the dovetail type reflex mounts do require a hole be drilled and tapped into the slide to support the end opposite the dovetail. (not a difficult operation,,,if you have the equipment, I've done a few locally. I didn't need it on mine since I use a CORE)
The one you linked does require it. Look at the countersunk hole in the picture. That's where the forward support is. I don't see the same thing on the M&P one but all the ones that I've done for friends have had it. A reflex is a lot of weight to rely on just the dovetail keeping in place. Have you used it on anything other than your .22?No drilling or fitting needed with the Burris mount.

Excellent information. I ordered a BFFII for $169 along with the Burris Mount SW M&P (410336) for $50.
@Bkreutz, I too have the CORE with a Leupold Deltapoint, but my reason for the BFFII with mount on my FS 9mm is to compare and contrast the two options. (FS M&P9 with BFFII vs. CORE M&P9 w/Leupold Deltapoint)
@crf450rr, what are your thoughts on it? Shoots well? Target acquisition? Holds zero, etc...? Do you use it to cock/powerstroke the slide.
It was very easy to sight in and target acquisition is fast for me.
I don't use the FFII to pull the slide back.
