You should not carry a gun.

Subject seems to have got a little sideways here. Funny how we can mention guns n God comes up a lot. As for me and my opinion... Have gun .. Will carry. Follow the law yes much as possible. But yes will carry in the "posted" no carry places. I figure if a coward crazy person wants to kill a...

If you haven't tried this you should!

I agree on the grease. I use grease on my autos frame rails, and barrel shroud. But for springs and hard to reach spots oil is golden. Grease would build up n stick the springs with debris after awhile. But in good gun maintenance both defiantly have their place.

It's red in color pretty heavy grade oil. I've used it quiet a bit for internals. I also found it in an auto parts store. But I'm sure you could get it online.

How much did you pay for your M&P Shield?

    Hickok 45 shoots m&p 9 VTAC

I just wanted to chime in n say the vtac is an awesome gun. Love mine!! The sights work really well. Some say they would be a little off because of the height difference between day and night. Could be true but not noticeable to me. It's a great gun. N Hickok 45 the. Best!!

    Considering M&P Shield 9MM for Concealed Carry~Any Suggestions~

I have both the xds 9 and the shield. I like both guns either does what they are supposed to. The xds is a higher price for practically the same gun. I do however like the fiber optic sights on the xds. Both shoot well and are both very dependable. Never a malfunction in either of mine. But In...

    Shield Trigger Bar

Try an official smith & wesson armorer. I talked to a guy at my local gun store, he took the armorers class from S&W. Qualified to work on their products. He informed me he could get factory parts. Might wana give that a try.

If you haven't tried this you should!

Lucas gun oil, if you've never tried this product, you should pick up a bottle and give it a try. It's a heavy oil that I've found to cling to moving parts better. I've used it on everything from slide rails to triggers. I must say it works great to help free up a new or gritty trigger as well...

Glock vs. M&P-yup. I'm askin' it.

I have a glock 30 that I have carried and shot for a couple years now. Never the first problem with the glock in any way. Recently bought an M&P VTAC and have only shot it about 50 times up to this point. All being said the glock is a bit thick and a little big for my hand. But very reliable and...

    My hand hurts! - M&P Shield 9mm

I personally have a Springfield xds 9mm and in my opinion it's also a light shooter. Easily controllable one handed .. Just my 2 cents

Took my new to me M&P 9 VTAC to range today

I also recently purchased a VTAC 9mm I gotta say I love it. So far only ran one box of Winchester white box through it. But no failures what so ever at this point. I have read in several places that the front sight has a tendency to fall off?? Also some concerns that the finish may be easily...
