Being an owner of many Performance Center S&W revolvers and several non performance center guns I can frankly say a PC gun is worth the additional charge. Its just not a trigger or "action" job, but you get trigger stops, fitted cylinder to barrel, most precise timing etc.

Ammo on line Don't know what sites you are going to but I order ammo in 1,000 round bricks all the time and have never seen that option. Never had any issues with standard delivery and packaging. Sounds like your site is trying to run the price up on you

M&P 9mm Shield I have a Springfield XDS and XDM, also a M&P CORE 9L, I fired a Shield the other day and liked it better than the before mentioned. Was able to hold tight groups right out of the box. A very nice gun. Size is perfect for a carry gun, almost as good as a Bodyguard

S&W 629 PC SKU170334 I bought one this summer. It is a very nice gun and I was also looking at a Stealth Hunter If I had to do it again I'd get the 44mag competitor model. The extra weight is good. I have the 357 mag competitor PC model
