I picked this up today from a retired deputy in my county for $475. All carry wear but locks up tight.

Midway or flea bay usually can find oem grips.

I want a 2 1\2 really bad. To Live And Die in L.A. is one of my favorite movies. SS used to carry 2 1/2" 19's with Eagle grips.

I am waiting for my new grip for my 6906 from Smith & Wesson then I will start carrying it.

This is my jealous face! The only 59's I have ever seen in person looked liked they had been dragged by a squad car and put away wet. Okay not quite so bad but wow, sounds like a great snag. The whole 10 day wait seems so absurd.

Heard from customer service at S&W. They said mail grip in and they would swap out for new one, 2-4 weeks. So now I wait for to come back. My new 5906 and 6906 mags showed up. I did get to shoot it last Saturday. Very pleased with it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It doesn't have the dimple so probably not fixed according to recall. I will call Smith Wesson see they will send out a new grip.

Friday I picked up a nice 6906 with one mag for $380 otd. The manager even threw in a like new Bianchi Remedy holster for free. I sold my 5906 a couple years ago and regretted it. Glad I found this one. Shot 150 trouble free rounds yesterday. I also shot my Glock 22 which was interesting...

I use a generic cell phone clip on cordura pouch to carry two Hks speedloaders. One sits on top of the other. No one notices them sitting on my hip 9 o'clock. Sent from my GT-P3113 using Tapatalk
