Check out S&W new products for 2010 for new model with 2.5" barrel. I have a 438 and called S&W 6 months ago to see if I could purchase a 3" barrel that would fit. S&W said they had nothing that would fit. Maybe they do now.

Yes, it does have a lock. Single action helps to sight in a Crimson Trace laser grip. I had to send mine back to S&W for no fires. They repaired the yoke and replaced the firing pin. Goes BANG now all the time. I use it for concealed carry.

Light Strike Same thing happened with my new Model 438. Sent it back to S&W. They replaced firing pin and repaired the yoke. Goes bang every time now. (approx. 500 rounds)

What basic equipment would I need to reload 38 Special, 357 Magnum and 9MM ammo? What would the approximate cost be? Can you suggest a few suppliers where I might obtain the equipment. Thanks for any help with this.
