You did well for $399. Thanks for rubbing it in. The spent cartridges were dated Jan. 15, 2013 so these were pretty close to straight off the line.

Cabelas has numerous very lightly used .38 Specials for $299. I was looking at one tonight but I can't make out the year / model. The serial # is CER96xx and it has another number stamped on the inside 491. Any thoughts on this? Thank you.
